Swapping Routers

I have a TP-LINK TL-MR6400 router, and have been given a HUAWEI B315S - 936 which has a backup battery. I take the Sim card out of the TP, insert into the B315, but I can't get it to connect to the Internet. My phone and router are connected. Do I need to change settings on the Huawei?

What should I look for? Must the settings be the same on both routers? Please note that I am a total novice

Check you have the correct login details on he replacement router.

At the moment I'm on Rain, but have cancelled from the end of the month. Then Cell-C which has good coverage in my area.

APN settings are network specific.

1. Profile Name - rain
2. APN – rain
3. Leave the username and password empty/not set
4. Save the Profile

Thanks all. So, when I change over to Cell-C, must I substitute Rain with Cell-C?
