How can there be such a massive price difference on the same item?

Pick n Pay always seems more expensive. It's not a premium retail experience either. That store there by you is :sick:
 
Well I worked in retail for a small stint a few years back from that I gathered that Checkers buys stock from manufacturers for all their stores and the stores order what they need from their DC, as a result Checkers able to secure better bulk discounts.
While for PnP each store buys stock from the manufacturer/distributor

Things could have changed since then.

Their corporate stores receive from the DC. Not sure how the Family stores work.
 
i was just curious how there can be such a massive price difference on the exact same item :thumbsup: Thanx guys
