Hey guys

I've often found games online, which are *.swf files. Is there any way to save these files, to play the games offline?

Thanks

Aphz

Yes, get urself Firefox and click File>Save Page As>Complete Webpage and it'll download it into a folder and voila.

Once you've done as dabouncer says, find the .swf file in the folder and copy it out... it's generally all you need. You can open .swf with Firefox.

And what if you wanna play it on a PC which does not have Firefox? Copy to an Exel file?

And thanx for the help, dabouncer & Leitmotif

or Opera - even better than FF! (Not trolling, just my opinion)

thed33p - anything but IE.

Aphrael: once you've saved it, any web browser with a Shockwave Flash plugin should be able to open it.

Another way to save any multi media object in Firefox is to:
1) Right onthe page --> Select view Page Info
2) Click the Media Tab
3) Select the object you wish to save and click 'Save As'
