Where can I buy a swim lap counter in SA?

I am not seeking a heart monitor or energy counter, but a straight forward lap counter, similar to the device below....

Swim Lap COunter.jpg

in essence a simple device that I can just tap at the end of lap ..... increased my daily lengths from 40 to 50 and want to reach a target of 100 a day, but I find the swimming so relaxing that I use the opportunity to think about all the other issues going on and land up confusing myself as to how many lengths I have complete ....

I thank you!

:D

Counting is an imperialist & capitalist measurement technique used to confuse and destroy.
Well all know that everything's value should be equal to the labour time put in.

"The value of a commodity is the labour time taken in production of that commodity. That’s what determines the value of a commodity.” - Jacob Zuma 2015

I also want one.

Me too, cannot tell you how many times while doing laps in prep for Midmar I lost count 'cos my mind wandered.

Even thought I should build myself a 'tapper', box with big button & lcd screen, leave it on the side of the pool & tap it to register the laps.

Also thought about doing this, with a pressure pad.....but then I would have to lug the contraption back and forth....

Usefull tip I found:
My main method for counting laps is to use the lane dividers, usually combined with my wristwatch for every 5 laps. What I do is I push the buoys on the lane divider away from the wall when I get in, and then move one towards the wall for each lap that I complete before starting the next one. When I get to 10, I start pushing them back out away from the wall. This is a simple and handy method that is available in most pools.

Otherwise buy 2 of these and have one on each side of the pool
