WBS currently serves 8000 customers from their 32 base stations in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban. Shaun Green, National Operations Manager at WBS, informed MyADSL that WBS is continuing to expand their coverage and he is confident that many users will select their product over the other broadband offerings in the market.

The number of users for each service is as follows:

ADSL: 70 000+
Vodacom 3G: 18 000+
WBS’s iBurst: 8 000
Sentech’s MyWireless: 5000

So, Tami said 10000 users. Shaun green says 8000 users. Let's take another 20% off that for what is likely to be some more exaggeration and we sit at 6400 users.

nooooo, they had 10000 a month ago, now they have 8000 because 2000 cancelled their contracts ... so about 3 more months like that and they will have about 2000 users :-) probably most of them grannies using it for email :-)

Kei, I don't know if you're referring to a post from last week that never actually made it to the forum at all, and was therefore not ever deleted, if you are, then like I said on forum at the time, the post was not deleted - I checked the thread logs at the time & it never actually got to the forum...:)

Well, we may as well delete this entirely useless post. Kei, please go and whine somewhere in the OffTopic forum about how everyone hates you. It's getting old.
