I have 2 ADSL accounts, 1 with a 1gig cap, and another with 2gig cap, both from telkom. I use up the 1gig one first, and then use it for local bandwidth. It's annoying switching between them everytime I want to use local or international as I have to go into the router and enter in the different details. Is there a faster way to do this?

Well then put your router in bridge mode and create 2 dialup accounts, that's the quickest.
Or if your router supports it keep your most frequently used settings on the router and create a single dial up account on your computer. Connecting to that will override the router.

SERIOUSLY YOU TROLL USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION. Stop making a new thread wrt news servers , routesentry each time you are too lazy to look.

Thanks

@jsheed_sa .. no.

@HelloThere: It's like this:

If your router is placed into bridge mode, then it no longer does the connecting for you, you are then have to initiate the connection to the internet yourself from your PC.

This connection that you initiate from your machine is a simple dial-up connection that you double click, and hey presto, you're connected to the internet. If you want to disconnect, right click the little icon, and disconnect.

BUT, your router in bridge mode becomes dumb. It's firewall is no longer running, and it will no longer do protected port forwarding. You must take care of the firewall problems on your computer.

Questions?

Thanks so much, My routers firewall is disabled as I cannot forward ports with it as it gives me errors.
