I'm sure more than a few members here have multiple ADSL accounts, either shaped/unshaped or local/international.
What is the best way to manage switching between these accounts ?

I have one account for normal surfing that gives me loads of extra gigs and one for gaming that gives me a nice ping. They are with different ISP's but I managed to keep the first part of the login the same and the password so when I need to switch I just have to change the @isp part of the user name on my router.

It would be cool if I could do something like on the "Splitting local and international traffic" thread as I have that particular Linksys router lying around.

FYI: I would base the swap on the time of day as one of the accounts I use is the axxess 626

I connect directly though my router so not really relevant, possibly Windows and Linux.... I want a solution off my machine.

I would leave the router on the cheapest slowest common browsing based shaped package available (Telkom 1/2/3GB).
I would then put the router into half-bridge (pppoe bypass) mode, and use route-sentry for all my other connections right on my PC.

But, I don't have an ADSL router, I have an ADSL modem, so my only choice is the route sentry option, and it works well for me.

Well depending on whether the 626 account can stay connected during the hours its unusable...

I would use linux to keep them all connected, then have a cronjob set up to enable/disable routes for the 626 accounts, but also only for the destination servers I use it, or even better destination ports/protocols ect.

That's what I was thinking, i'm just worried that if I keep trying to connect to the 626 account during off times then they might lock the account ?
The other issue is that from 1-8 AM I want to download my torrents, but that is during 626 time...
So I need the 626 account to connect at 6 PM and then stay on for 6 and a bit hours.. then the other account to login at 12 and stay up untill 6 the next evening.
