Hi - I tend to use 2 ISPs for my VDSL - switching between them depending on performance. Every time I do this I need to login to my modem, lookup my username and passwords on a piece of paper, manually change username and password in the WAN settings, reboot etc. I would like to know if there is some way to do this in a simpler way - looking for the ability to toggle between ISPs using one switch and saving the ISP settings so I don't have to check or remember all the different usernames and passwords. Using DSL-AC68U modem/router.

Why not put the modem into half bridge mode, and dial up a new pppoe connection on your pc when you want to switch?

Was gonna suggest the same, I have my main on the router and then 2 1GB test accounts that I just dial into went I need to troubleshoot.

Save one username and password in Firefox and one in Chrome and that's how I swap :)

Might be worth looking into the Mikrotik devices, work like a charm to have more than one connection. You can even get fancy with the routing if you wanted.

Indeed.

Use the Microtik as your router, and let it dial out on your DSL modem. You can send ports or protocols to different ISP accounts, even based on the time of day. Really geeky stuff, but works great with different accounts.
