Weird one, i am busy using the free local on the mweb account, when i switch to the Axxess account (Billion 800VGT) i still can't access international pages, it keeps bringing up the Mweb landing page?

I have verified with the Axxess control panel that i am logged in, and my IP is picked up as 44.* (The mweb IP is 165.*) and if i enable the saix cache in my Proxy settings i can access international pages but its a mission to keep changing this whenever i switch accounts!

Any idea on what is going on?

But is that the MWEB router you're using?
Isn't it locked onto their network.

Sorry I don't know too much about it, just throwing it out their as an option...

1) Try physically rebooting the router every time you change login settings.
2) Rather put the router into bridge mode and create PPPoE dial-up settings on your computer for local and international... much much easier.

DNS Problem afaik, there was a thread about this some time ago...
Change to the correct NON-MWEB DNS. Should work then.

Can you confirm where your router came from? If you got it from Mweb when you signed with them you cant use any other ISP account accept a Mweb on it.

So if you want to use Axxess or other ISP, get a new router.

I'm pretty sure he already had a router before he signed up with M-web. He only signed up with M-Web to get the free local.

Hey, just found this thread again lol

Anyway router is not locked, moving to the all in one bundle from Mweb

Its a billion 800vgt.

Anyway the switching seems to be working again, didn't change any other settings or restart the router!

Gary, i know i keep bothering you with tech questions, but how well do you know the Billion 800VGT & Routesentry?

Fook it, i did the Routesentry thing and int and local were working great, now i keep hitting the fooking landing page when i try google.com

Busy searching myadsl for an answer :)

I don't know much. That is beyond my technical knowledge.

I have a dedicated computer for local only. The rest use the international.
