Switching from nforce chipset to Intel chipset

Do you need to change anything significant when changing from a AMD system to Intel system?

At the moment I've got a AMD 4200 system (nforce 570 chipset) with Windows 7 installed; running without any problems. I am probably upgrading to Intel Core 2 Duo or Quad system (Intel P45 chipset).

Is it as easy as moving harddrive from AMD system to Intel system, after uninstalling the nforce drivers? Will the operating system install the necessary drivers?
