Swop HTC One X for BB Q10

I moered out of my chair just a couple of minutes ago.

A mate of mine just swopped out his HTC One X for a BB Q10. I'm like ... WTF?!!!! Didn't take your pills this morning? It can't be desperation. I mean he is actually a very clever person, but this?

So I would like to ask for advice here:
1. Break the friendship immediately
2. Hit him over the head until he comes back to his senses
3. Live and let live with the provisio that when he visits me, he must leave the BB outside

As the actual person who did the 'swopping', think of it as a curious George moment, just to see what BB 10 is all about? Don't hate me for exploring the dark side...
 
Well, personally I think the guy should be locked up in an asylum, but there might be a reason for it.

Maybe he just found the phone too damn big for his liking (the One X does feel huge in your hand, tested it myself), or he just loves a physical keyboard.

There are people who just can't get along with a touchscreen only, especially when they're texting and driving. :eek:
 
It is unanimous so far, but I have good news ...

1. He is just getting a feel for the phone
2. He will sell it for a profit when he upgrades
3. He will be upgrading in July
 
Im afraid you'll have to cut all ties....for the mean time, this is where you have to be selfish, just imagine being seen rolling with someone with a BBerry :/ just the thought has me shivering and breaking out into a cold sweat. :o
 
I think he got a really good deal and the guy who swopped the Q10 didn't.

I mean One X is only worth R3k +- on the pre-owned market whereas Q10 worth pretty much double. The user could sell the Q10 and cough in a grand or so for the new HTC One whereas when he/she previously owned the One X, it would've been more like a R4K cough in,
