Symantec buys PC Tools

Security and storage giant Symantec has agreed to buy specialist Australian-based anti-spyware firm PC Tools. Terms of the deal were undisclosed in Monday's announcement.

I can remember PC Tools from my XT and AT days - PC tools R4.31 something...

...and then how it got bloatware...

Prolly will be bigger bloatware a while later, won't be surprised as Symantec's antivirus' already bloat.

Heh... I've gots an idea - let's start a company called PC Tools and sell out to Symantec
