I am amazed that nobody seems to have developed SA Maps for the Symbian operating system. There are lots of low cost Bluetooth GPS modules available and good Symbian Software but no SA maps!!
Here is a project for someone....I believe there is free map converting/compiling software available...and I have seen downloadable 1:50000 topographical maps for SA so it seems that a few weeks work in converting and calibrating is all thats needed. I will be your first customer!!
I have the Nokia 9500 with S80 Symbian OS.
