Been having this problem for ages, and apologies if it's been dealt with before.
Since the end of January my ADSL line has been losing sync at random intervals, and it was particularly bad up until April. Since then, it seems to have vanished but every now and again it keeps coming up. It is especially bad on Sundays and early Mondays. Since I really want to get to the bottom of this, I was wondering if I could pinpoint whether it is the modem or line.
Here is my modem status (from a Mega 105RW):
Modem Status
Connection Status Connected
Us Rate (Kbps) 128
Ds Rate (Kbps) 381
US Margin 12
DS Margin 27
Trained Modulation ADSL_2plus
LOS Errors 0
DS Line Attenuation 46
US Line Attenuation 24
Peak Cell Rate 301 cells per sec
CRC Rx Fast 0
CRC Tx Fast 0
CRC Rx Interleaved 0
CRC Tx Interleaved 0
Path Mode Fast Path
DSL Statistics
Near End F4 Loop Back Count 0
Near End F5 Loop Back Count 0
Is there anything funny with it? And how I can monitor it should the sync problem come up again? I've tried using Routerstat but the program keeps hanging up on me.
