I'm going to take a shot in the dark here. I know a colleague at work uses Microsoft One Note to create tasks in Outlook. I've never used One Note, so I can't comment on that, but I know that it s availabe for iOS. So maybe that's worth a look?

You should be able to do this via icloud.

Apple really devolved by having removed iSync from ML. iOS and ML will be set to delete iSync on bootup in future releases. Now that really is impractical given the absence of broadband or, rather, connectivity of any kind in large parts of South Africa.

That is where a combination of 3rd party apps like Companionlink and myphoneDesktop does help a lot.

iPhone5 is a hostile device that may even block those solutions. Apple has forced me to go through the ''Hell of Gates and Windoze.''

Syncing with Outlook is best done between Windows devices. Luming over the horizon I see a big 7 or 8 shining like the morning star in my future.

Thanks to Apple!

Not everybody has sufficient, stable connectivity and then the cloud also has its security risks. Just a week or two ago, the privacy of a million Apple users were compromised.

That had nothing to do with Apple users putting their stuff in the cloud. Or even with Apple, for that matter. All that had to do with was using a 3rd party app off the app store, which is pretty difficult to avoid on any of the smartphone platforms.

Thanks for all the input. Im going to give companionlink a go.Ill post outcome as soon as Ive tested it. Thanks again all !!
