Does anyone use this?

Looks like a good free solution, are there any limitations?

I want to use this with my Ubiquiti USG Pro.

Lastly, is it possible to load something similar to this on a rasbery maybe, since I would like to have a little syslog device inside the Server cabinet that is connected to the UPS meaning it will always be on. Since I assume with this software if the windows PC is shut down then the logging stops?

Limitations? Looks like it only runs on windows

I have used it.
The limitations were 5 devices. Other than that it worked exactly what I needed it for. (Email alerts on up/down interfaces.)

The better option is to setup a Rsyslog server, that collect logs. You can turn on remote logs for most devices nower days (Ubnt Rocket M5's and so on do this so im sure you can with UnifiAP) and then setup a Kibana/ElasticSearch engine, so you can visualize the logs better if a Linux kernel scares you. You can run a rsyslog server on your PI pretty easily.
