Who are they?
My client, based in Century City, designs, builds and supports social web and mobile products.
What will you do?
• Installing, configuring and debugging software remotely and locally
• Monitoring system performance and ability to understand discrepancies in log files
• Handling daily processes relating to daily tasks within IT
• Ability to understand users’ needs and assist with problems they are experiencing
Can you apply?
• Matric & relevant tertiary qualification
• Highly competent in the following technologies:
o Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP stack)
o Linux command line (Debian/Ubuntu)
o Networking and Firewall setup (IPTables/PFSense)
o SAMBA
o Active Directory
o Exchange
• Working knowledge of Networking, Windows, Linux OS, Hardware setup and fault finding
• Available for after hour standby work
If you also have experience with either of the following: Memcache/Membase/Moxi/Bash/ssh/ldap/Cloud Computing/VMs (VMWARE Vsphere/ESXI)/ZFS/Ansible/monitoring solutions (Nagios/Zabbix) – we want to hear from you!
