R20 000 p.m.

How far will I drive?
You will be based in Windhoek Namibia (so you also have to be a Namibian citizen)

What hours will I work?
This is not a 8 – 5 job – hours depend on urgency of projects + stand by

What will I need to know to get this job?


Solid technical experience as a systems analyst/technical consultant/BA
Solid MS SQL experience
Experience in Sales/Retail industry would help you a lot!
Tech Check: MS Sharepoint, RAdmin, Printers, Scanners, PDTs
What will you do on a daily basis?
• Document & streamline implementation & support of value-added services
• Promote all available value-added services
• Sell & implement all available value-adds
• Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow
• Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address
• Determine how a system should work and how changes in condition, operations and the environment will affect outcomes
• Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
• Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles
• Change management to get the required result/information from the existing system
• Document requirements for changes to/new functionality in the system, and liaise with Development team
• Implementing system/new functionality at the client
• Support the client and system post implementation and monitor the performance of the solution implemented
• Identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance and the actions needed or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system

LOL @ R20K....

This is the glorified-techy version of a system analyst, it seems. Also, it's Windhoek, don't expect crazy pay. There's a reason everyone remotely technically skilled there is trying to move to Jhb.

Having spent quite a bit of time working in Windhoek, they'd have to at least double my salary in order for me to consider moving there permanently, purely because the lack of skills is incredibly frustrating.
