I thought I would start this thread as it seems everyone that I speak to doesn’t know what it is.
T-zone is a a wireless hotspot owned by Telkom where clients can connect to the internet at designated hotspots and be billed via credit card through a company called wireless G ( wireless G also owns some wireless hotspots of there own )
the charges are as follows: R1 per session.
40 min = R40
60 min = R60
80 min = R80
24hr = R80
As well clients with 512 line and up have the option of connecting using your free sessions that you get every month. Which are 10 30min sessions. Where u would connect with your username as your telephone number i.e. 011706… and the password would be your account number for your DSL. Any queries dial 08000 89663 (08000 TZONE) they also the suport for wi-max but that might go over to the adsl suport. The agents were usually always available but lately by instructions from an executive t-zone staff now also do ADSL so the waiting time is now quite long.
