Dont get defensive? I like statistics, so wanted confirmation. I somehow doubt the espn one though, since chinas population seems to be less than 2 billion, would be hard for all of them to be playing..

If you like stats so much maybe you can find out what really is the second most popular sport in the world.

I must say Table Tennis i would think would be right up there if not second. The whole world plays table tennis man.

It actually seems difficult to find some reliable answer TBH,
anything from football/volleyball/basketball/swimming/table tennis...

who knows? I was surprised by table tennis being even near the top though...
