Tablet / Android Gaming Recommendations

Got Samsung Tab S8 yesterday and looking for a few games, any games you guys can recommend for Tablets ?

Dig + RetroArch + ROMs for anything like Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64 to PS2 (If your tablet is strong enough)

Other:
Also look at LaunchBox instead of Dig for theme support but its paid-for.

OK some I have been doing some research and these appear to be the top games, anyone played any of these ?

Vampire survivors
Terraria

I also have a PS 5 controller so might test out Need for Speed or a fighting game if you guys have any recommendations

I have about 400hrs in Dead Cells, it's probably my favourite game of all time. Do note that the first 3 you listed are all the same genre of game, i.e. Roguelike/lite, and if you're not into that it will be a struggle. If you are though, they are terrific (personally haven't played Vampire Survivors yet). SLS is card/turned based and also a lot of fun. Also worth checking out Rogue Legacy 1/2, although I think that's iOS only on mobile, but I could be wrong.

Thanks yeah will definitely get Dead cell then. Also looking for a decent tower defense game if you know of any

One thing I forgot to mention is that with the mobile versions are slightly behind the PC/Console versions in terms of DLC etc. so just a warning, do some research if that sort of thing might bother you.

Watched some youtube videos and seems good to me, either way one will get use to it quickly. I see rocket league is also on android anyone played the mobile version ?

I have a Logitech F710 but recently got a PS 5 controller, loving the PS 5 controller so far and if you can find it on special for around R 1000 think it is a no brainier. Haven't tried the xbox controller but they should also be good

This looks great. Have you ever tried to get two controllers to work to play some of the games e.g. Tekken on PS? or even on NES, Contra or something like that?

Have 3 controllers on my Pi 4 running Batocera. Well 2 controllers and a Arcade stick
2 Player works like a charm.

Should be the same for Android?

PS: Batocera/Retroarch Also supports Netplay.

Just played some dead cells in load shedding really enyoing it with my controller, going to try and look for a cool racing game to try
