So i lost my galaxy tab..claimed.. and got reimbursed by the insurance company..
i bought a new one with a new sim card etc and carried on merrily..
the tab cannot make calls, though i think the sim is only for 3g/data comms..

then a month later when I visit a client in Mafikeng, they tell me that they had it in their lost and found section and it was dead so they didnt know who it belonged to.

So now I am sitting with the old tablet, and my new one.

What do i do with this old one? give back to insurance surely? but has it been blacklisted or blocked in anyway?
I would like to buy it back and give it to the wife if possible. its got tons of pics from family parties etc that I do not want to lose.

advice?
 
i have contacted them,
they have note replied. sigh...
 
I think if you explain it to them, they can make a plan, perhaps ask you to insure the lost one as well. If it's been blacklisted, I stand under correction but think that will apply only if you are selling said item. SIM is easy to replace.
 
yes i have it on email.
when i get the reply, i'll ask about buying it back etc.

hope they dont make me give the new one back! the battery last so much longer!!
