Tablet recommendation

Hi all.

I am looking to get a Tablet in the 10' range. Have an iPad, would like an Android tab.

I had a look at the Mecer 8 linkyand will probably get it if there isn't something comparable in the 10" class.

Not interested in spending big bucks or getting one on contract. Must have WiFi and 3G/LTE/4G.

Please let me know what you would buy and why.

If you want something decent get the Xperia Tablet Z. The first one is quite cheap now that the Z2 is out.

@ mercurial - All good in the hood! You? I don't want to spend buckets... R3k absolute max....

leveno S6000 can't go wrong, stay away from any thing remotely now name that includes mecer and proline, mecer has really carp screen res. S6000 does retail for around 3k but any thing below that price is going to have some combination of weak, battery low screen res or other limiting factors to keep prices down.

10 inch you are going to struggle to find some thing worth while and with a good price, if you consider a 7" you have a considerable bigger selection and price ranges to consider, I have a 7' and it's more than good enough.

10' = 10 foot = 3 meter Don't know where to get tablets that big :)
 
look at the new microsoft nextbooboardk at makro, R3k nets you 1o inch with a key

+1 for the s6000. My missus loves hers. Screen res is a bit on the low side, but you tend to use a 10" tablet a bit further away than a phone, so the res is less of an issue.
 
I have the S6000 and the Yoga. Very happy with the Lenovo's. I think you can get the S6000 through FNB for R159 per month....pocket change.
