Tackling computer noise

Many a person has looked in vain for the noise disturbing them while working or gaming at a PC – could it be a lawnmower or an airplane?

The quieter the slower they turn - as far as i know.

Not true, my PC is almost 100% silent. All I have to do is move it to an area where the sound won't spread as easily out the front fans and it will be impossible to hear.

My system is an overclocked i7 and a 7950. Importantly though is that the cabling is neat and organised in such a way that it never interferes with the flow of air.
No large amounts of small interferences keeps the air with a laminar flow which is quitter. Turbulent flow in itself is noisy.

Custom built is the best.

I am more affected by the light. I have added 4 blue fans that light up the corner in my room like a Christmas tree.
