Take2 has Wii in Stock!!!

Dammit! And I don't have cash Currently saving for a car, new PC AND a Wii. Times are tough. Times are tough indeed.

I don't think Take2 will have these in stock for long.
 
I'd rather spend another R400 on a Xbox premium. R2,5k would be a reasonable price for the Wii. Then again, if the Wii is released locally it will probably be more expensive than that so it might be a bargain.
 
Point Fudzy, but i still think the Wii vs Xbox is mainly a preference one (family console vs personal console) - Price is certainly a factor.
 
That's a terrible price. Around R2000 would be more reasonable.
 
I guess it's for the "I gotta have it!" brigade. It's better than bringing it in via ebay with no support & ntsc for R5k+ I would have to say.

Take2 are selling imports. The Wii will arrive in SA on August 10 (don't know if it's an official launch or if BT Games are the only ones bringing it here).
 
Does Target actually have them? Amazon seemed to be perpetually out of stock. If I was going to import I'd definitely get an NTSC one because of the much lower price.
 
I phoned a few Target stores in Virginia and DC and they don't have stock until "next shipment" :(
