instead?

Otherwise I need rechargeable batteries and where can I find those? X1 controller is R250 more, how much is a charging station?

You need AA batteries for the wireless controller. You know there are other online shops you can get the wired controller from right?

No. Just get a charge and play* for the wireless x360 controller; If you are going the x1 route you'd need a cable for now for the pc until ms releases the driver/receiver this year...

For the x360 you actually just need to get the receiver and the kit*.

Don't be a compulsive buyer yet. Just wait until takealot list them again on a daily deal... Shop around this weekend if you've a change. Example check Musica,BT Games, Raru etc.

I like the wired controller. Otherwise i need links for rechargeable batteries - nobody gave me links and idk where to shop for batteries @_@ i havent used aAA's since my gameboy color

That means i need to drive to musica etc, id rather just take the petrol money and have these taketrolls deliver to me

Any Pick and Pay, Shoprite, Game, Makro, Spar etc.
I personally use the Energizer ones.

You also get packs that include the charger

Finally someone gets through to me, thanks that helped a lot, did some searching seems a battery pack + 4 batteries costs about R250 which is somewhat ironically how much more the x1 controller is than the x360.

I guess I'm buying the x1 controller then

Check for the Uniross Hybrio branded batteries (game, hifi corp, builders and Makro normally have them)
i use them just get the quick charger (charge a set of 4 in less then 30 minutes)

I bought the wireless controller with receiver from takealot for my pc to play stuff like fifa and the batteries tend to last about a month a pop which is not bad, just by duracell others don't last that long

My Energizers last a month. That's about 50hrs of game time. A set of 4 is between R150-R200 with charger.

no need for the batteries, just get a fscking charge and play it :erm::D
