Talk is cheap at the DoC

It is therefore not surprising that many consumers take promises made by the DoC with a pinch of salt.

Understatement.............we just dont BELIEVE goverment!!!!!

Talk is Cheap, but money buys the whisky
Politicians love expensive whisky, hence their talk is very cheap

It is a cliché, but actions would be more inspiring than Padayachie's words, furthermore Roy really should not make promises such as the following one:
Padayachie cannot guarantee that he will still be the minister of communications on Monday let alone any other future point in time, and if he keeps making the pro-media noises he is currently making one can expect to see Zuma shuffling him out of the presidential filing cabinet very soon, so Padayachie has no way of ensuring that the DoC will always respect the media or anyone else for that matter.

Roy, don't make promises you cannot keep!!!

The other guy said nothing. This guy doesn't know where the off button is. Time will tell if he's hot air or not. I hope it's the latter.

DoC is a good example of a bunch of Oxygen thiefs. This is the most spectacular thing to se how these people would rather let a country stay underdeveloped so that they can line there pockets more rahter than actually do some work and benefit more. But it is probably expected of them to take the easy and lazy route out. Talk alot do nothing.

IBIWISI

Keep in mind that in 2006, Roy Padayachie is the same guy who said that we're about to see some "broadband fireworks"...

We waited many years since then to actually see anything even resembling a spark in broadband terms...so, IBIWISI
