Talking on Skype-Echoing

Has anybody experienced echoing ? If you speak you hear an exact repetition of your words a couple of seconds later..We are both on 384 speed ADSL.

Interesting was when other person talk to a friend both of them experience it.
When I talked to her only me experienced it, and I do not have video. She did not hear a repetition of herself in this case.

Has anybody solid info on this - It's quite annoying experience..?

Sounds to me like her mic's gain is too much. Or her speakers is too close too the mic , and their volume is too hi.

more info, both using headsets or speakers and mic?

If you are using speakers and mic then there is your problem, other than that check that stereo mix/mono mix isnt ticked in your windows recording volume control dialogue
