quite a few drivers on MYBB, think they sign up via uber.com/partner
and I think its a requirement to have a sedan
no hatchbacks allowed.

Oh? They're affiliated with Uber? I kno they take Sedans, 2013+ and some brands, not all.

But for now one would be limited on income as no one knows this Taxify

Yeah, I think taxify allow those that don't meet uber rules to get rides,
Not as far as I know, there a few company like them, like lyft

Your vehicle will have to go for roadworthy inspection if it's a 2nd hand, new cars don't need to go for roadworthy, Uber will give you directions to their testing stations ppl you must use. .

You need a public license. Insurance for third party etc.

What I love about Uber for now with the discount (Uber top-up) if you don't reach your target within the hour they will top you up anything between R75 - R125

Is there a minimum spend required to take advantage of this voucher. I like that you can use cash as preferred payment method but what I don't like that they charge in pounds

To use the voucher only in-app payments allowed for taxify. Just checked the app now. No taxify taxis in my area, but will use them on Wednesday, let you folks know the condition

Yes, it is in Durban.
Im not too sure about the codes but as posted above, use MDPZW if you are a new user and UPED5 for existing users.
