Taxis at it again...

A taxi driver has been arrested after he hit a 19-year-old student on a pedestrian crossing.

Jason Kruger is fighting for his life in Netcare Greenacres Hospital after the taxi rammed into him while he was on the crossing at Admiralty and University roads on his bicycle on Tuesday afternoon.

The first-year BA student at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) was dragged behind the vehicle for nearly 30 metres.

The taxi driver, who was presumably intoxicated, was arrested on the scene. Police spokesperson Sergeant Tembi Gwe said he was in custody and will appear in the North End Magistrate's Court on Thursday. He will be charged with reckless and negligent driving, and driving under the influence of alcohol.

If it’s any consolation...I fuc*ed up a taxi drive two weeks ago.
Gave him a proper beating with his co driver running away like a coward.

The irony of it all was I took major flack from drivers around us.......mostly whites who were shouting and swearing at me.
If looks could kill..I would have been dead.

One woman I noticed took photos with her cell phone.
Probably to run to the police to report the poor previously disadvantaged beating by a white man.

Sometime I just cannot come to grips with South Africans.

So yeah he got a proper hiding and I had to throw away my blood stained clothes

Gave me the middle finger when I hooted at him.

Promptly showed him the error of his ways.

So his cousin dies and the best you can come up with is ROLMAO? The original post just said "Student"...No one is frothing at the mouth except at the fact that the taxi driver hit a person and they don't care...

i did not say black or white in my post,just that my cousin was hit by a Taxi and died and that Taxi drivers are speeding and not paying attention to the road on purpose.
