Taxi's get your own back

I see it made the news lastnight, some psychologist from Cape Town warning against this game , as the unstable folk outthere will use this game as a warm-up and go out there and put it into practice for real.

Someone must've given him a few tko's already that's why he can't see it

Same like his cronies fail to see the my car in the lane next to them before they decide that they would like to occupy the same space as mine.Same as they can't see red robots, stop streets, no turning lanes and assume that the yellow line on the side of the road in peak traffic is a taxi only super speed lane. Yeah, I now agree with webhosting talk more weapons - blood and gore.

I have to admit to it now, I think the good ol doc was talking about me.

Nope not me , hey , but I have visualized and conceptualized this game quite often in my head. So I am glad that someone was thinking along the same lines as I. Disturbing isn't it ?

It is an excellent way to vent frustrations in a safe way!

Was looking forward to kill the virtual taxi after an idiot taxi driver nearly took me out on the way to work.

How stupid!! The repercussions of this game will just end in more murders and road rage. Very stupid!!

Each to his own I say. Till they are brought to book (taxi drivers, this may never happen), we will forever and ever have frustrations. So what better way then to get your own back, by using this game.

Yes it presents problems to some of the unhinged few amongst us, but for the rest it's just that a diversion.

Yip then they gonna go for you after you go for them.

They do that every day on our roads anyways, so that's nothing new, in the manner that they drive and make their own laws.

Try waiting in line to turn off the M1 North onto Grayston, then you see the entire host of them ride up on the right hand side and just cut across the island right in front of the first or second car.

I have monitored them coming up from the Mandela bridge onramp onto the highway going on the M1 South. There might be space next to them, but do you think they will do the proper thing and take that opportunity , no he will try and force his way in at the front crossing the solid line. So even if it means him taking me out with my car, I will not be moved. Enough!!

Oh and don't think that the metro cops are helping or any better. M1 North in the morning, they are also not prepared to wait like the rest of us, why not just put your pretty blue lights on and go straight through via the yellow line.

No, it is not to some grave emergency , it is just because it is for their own convenience, so the following two metro police vehicles : "RRP798GP" "RRP789GP" - know that I am cataloguing your transgressions. I will not let this rest.

who's more problematic: crap drivers or the people who loose their patience because of crap drivers? i go for the latter.
taxi drivers wouldnt really be a problem if everyone would just exercise a bit of patience on our roads. actually, a LOT of problems on our roads wouldn't be problems if we all learnt the art of patience. i've never had problems with taxi drivers because i think i'm patient as a driver. and taxi drivers aren't the only ones who driver like taxi drivers, if that makes sense.
just my five bob though :D
