Hi Guys

a friend of mine created a 3vs3 team yesterday.

Now for one none of us have done the arena scene yet.

Ok pls help :o
1 x Protection spec Warrior
1 x Combat spec Rogue - I want to spec Hemo build
1 x Balance Druid

We need some strategies. Pls feel free to share them here :p

If hes the druid?
Sounds like a mean team to me but i got no arena exp.

I hear resto druids are about the best healers for Arena.
And you probably want the warrior to be Arms spec.
Mortal Strike ftw.
Rogue....i dunno.
 
1. Druid hammer cyclone button.
2. Rest of the team : roll face on keyboard for 1 minute.

Well i'm sure it was Balance, if not then Resto :o

I know Eina is Protection
I'm cool with all 3 talent trees on the Rogue as I have played all of them. So I don't mind which one is needed :) I think we'll do our first arena tonight :eek:

Anyway.

I was thinking if there is no Lock in the other team, Druid+Rogue stealth ?
Tank only visible target. I nuke opposing healer, Druid breaks stealth and keep Warrior alive ?

Once their Healer is out. They will not make it :D

It the Healer is a Pala Maybe just interrupt as long as I can till Tank kills one of them ?
 
Get the warrior to respec ASAP! Protection have no place in arena, as specialy not 2v2 or 3v3!

Who is going to heal you? If the other team has a healer you will almost always loose :( Resto druids are quite good at healing, if they know how to run away and heal the whole time :D
 
Firstly, warrior must respec arms. Prot warrior in 3v3 is just going to be ignored.

If you're gonna play 3 dps (druid as balance), your best bet is to make it 3v2 asap. Have the warrior charge the focus target, you cheap shot, pop AR if you have, and just burn the crap out of him. While this is happening, have the druid cycloning their healer. Once cyclone breaks, you blind him. That should be more then enough time to burst 1 target down easily. Soon as he's dead, vanish. Let the druid switch cyclones to their other dps, and you guys burn down the healer making sure to interrupt.

If you come across any PoM pyro mages and you see em arcane power, pop cloak asap or have your warrior pop spell reflect.

Other then that you should be able to manage alright.

Ok if I were going up against your team :D I would prob nuke your druid down as soon as he pops. Snare/ CC your warrior and kill the rogue next.

Now if you alone go for our healer say a priest for example, he may die, but you could be alone left to kill the two dps chars that were with the healer ;-)

Yup, I eventualy respecc'd as it was such a pain to find healers.

I will primarly be resto with either a balance or feral component. I am thinking balance with a spec of 8/0/53 or something similar.

The cc with cyclone is handy.

The only problems currently is my resto / balance gear is mostly greens and that resto druids are just so squishy!

They are easy to kill indeed, secret is never to go into tree form, if the other team charges behind you put hots on your party members and shape to travel form running circles around them (use LOS from pillars etc!), they should never be able to catch you, and if they follow you, your dps partners have plenty of time to kill :D
 
Tks for the info. Maybe I shouldn't go so deep into the resto tree then.

I haven't looked but has anyone got a link to a list of macros? I'd like to set up an arena profile that I can shortcut. Hmmmm and I must get my mic sorted out asap.

Do alot of bg get better gear then go arena i saw the wyrm druid epic set should go nice with ballance or resto.

So due i take it your feral days are over?
I am more of a ballance fan myself for pvp.
