Team Speak ?

Hi Guys

I was reading thru another thread and came to ask this question. Do you guys use team speak ? If so for what game and who is your ISP.

The reason is I was thinking of doing team speak only problem I can think of is the Bandwith....

Use TS every now and then. For GW mostly.
Bandwidth is minimal. The app optimizes bandwidth AFAIK
Use it on DSL and on different ISP's

We use TS for all our Guild Wars GvG's. We host on our own dedi though. It is free AKAIK to host your own server. It uses hardly any BW and only activates when u talk. You can also set the quality of the stream.

If you play on the EU servers is there a small time delay or none. Reason i'm asking: I'm not going to go buy all the stuff and sit with a White Elephant.

No well the actual Teamspeak server is in South Africa so basically no time voice delay except your actualy INGAME time delay of GW which is also minimal since GW has some good netcode.

You don't need to buy anything really. We have people who use speakers and cheap ass mic and the software is free. Try it out first using the teamspeak.co.za sever and get a feel for the program.

Although I would recommend using a set of cheap headphones rather than speakers - you don't want the mic catching noise from the speakers.
