TeamSpeak over inet?

Hi guys,

Does any one know if you can use teamspeak with internet.

I.E: I want to talk to a friend of mine who has inet at work. Is there a way he can connect to my server over the internet and if so how do i go about doing it.

Also for ineternational atm i use vc data card which has provides dynamic ips. Will i need a vpn to allow him to connect etc etc.

Step 1:
Set up a dynamic DNS service on your side so that when he connects he can connect to a hostname instead of you having to send him the IP address every time it changes.
Maybe you can explain how you're connecting to the Internet.

Step 2:
Forward the correct ports on your firewall/router so that he can connect to your server. It's normally called "port forwarding" or "virtual server" on routers.

why not try xfire?

xfire you dont need a server, you can chat or use voice

Well ive got xfire ( only cos im a gamer ) but he isnt one so wpouldnt be interested in using it. Found out tho he has skype phones and skype on pc so i guess the problem is sorted....
