Tech adoption helps business

I beg to differ... early adoption can sometimes be a terrible thing for a business. Especially if you are throwing out tried and tested technologies.

why do so many banks still run COBOL back ends and windows NT4 on ATMS? because it works.... Imagine the banks rewrote their systems everytime a new programming language came out?

Actually they've now (for the most part) switched to c#

But I'll agree, early adopters, especially with wireless *stupid* technology, are usually the ones being left in the lurch

I would have thought that avoiding Microsoft products at all costs would be one of the better ways for a business to survive. In fact, the Microsoft marketing machine has kindly listed some of the better, cheaper, or even free alternatives in this article, so that you can save money by ditching Microsoft products.
