South African tech regulators team up

Four of South Africa's ICT sector regulators have formed a forum to increase collaboration in the sector.

The assembly is called the Information, Communication Technologies and Media Regulators Forum and comprises four state bodies.

It depends on the type of regulation, not all regulation is bad and there's quite a bit of it that is good, especially in an industry like mobile telecoms where spectrum is limited and you can't get more competitors.
