Customer Success Manager - Tygervalley
Who are they?
My client, a provider of document automation solutions for Microsoft Office and SharePoint based in the Northern Suburbs, has an opportunity for a Technical Account Manager to join them. They have clients in the US, Canada, UK and South Africa which they support via their offices in Cape Town, South Africa, US and London, UK.
What will you do?
A Technical Account Manager focusses on customer relationship management and works to ensure that the customer gets the most out of their software product. The TAM will partner with the customer to help them achieve their training, adoption, engagement and on-boarding goals.
• Managing customer expectations and ensuring that the customer has a positive and successful experience with their product from the pre-sales engagement right through to the last on-boarding step
• Establishing a trusted advisor relationship with the customer by ably representing, interfacing with and engaging the customers including regular progress updates when applicable
• Use past experience to give best practice guidance to the team and customer
• Fulfil Product Owner role for project requiring custom development
• Support Sales with RFP responses where subject matter expertise is required
• Get involved with product trials, demo’s and PoC’s to assist in turning these opportunities into sales
• Run their Client Programme with their customers to ensure a customer gets a great experience with their product
• Increase the customer experience by:
o Assisting the team creating Sales and On-Boarding material
o Look at ways to improve the programme and feed back to the team
• Mentor newly employed Technical Account Managers with the product as well as processes
• Be fully familiarised with the Product Roadmap
• Actively be involved in Product Release process
• Actively feed into the Product Backlog
• Work with Support and Product to resolve production issues
• Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
• Steers projects to ensure delivery of business value
• Is visible, vocal, and objective
• Willingness to travel
• Train the customer using their Training programme
Can you apply?
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• 6+ years Business Analysis and/or Product Owner and/or Customer Support and/or Account Manager and/or Product Manager experience
• 4+ years SDLC experience
• Drivers Licence (and own transport)
• Exposure to Sharepoint & APMP certification (beneficial)
