Technical Advisor – Information Systems and Data Analysis (Jordan)

Palladium is seeking a Jordan-based Technical Advisor for Information Systems and Data Analysis for a USAID- funded Human Resources for Health (HRH2030) Program. This position reports to the Project Director.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Project Director and the Government of Jordan Ministry of Health (MOH), providing technical assistance to harmonize information data systems related to human resources for health (HRH).

• Implement activities aimed at expanding the quality and availability of human resource data to improve HRH policy formation, management, and planning.

• Support the development of appropriate information systems and accompanying tools, enabling the MOH to make important workforce allocation decisions.

• Work closely with the Project Director and technical team, providing technical assistance to the MOH in harmonizing HRH information data systems

• Provide analysis and assessment of current HRH related data systems, their interoperability or challenges to harmonization

• Support the development of appropriate data systems and tools, enabling the MOH to improve HRH policy formulation, management and planning

• Assist in the roll out of the WISN tool nationally to inform HRH allocation decision-making at the health directorate and facility level

Minimum Education and Experience Required

• At least 7 years of professional experience in systems/data analytics, preferably in the health sector

• Master's degree in relevant field preferred, or combination of bachelor's degree and relevant work experience

• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, preferably on a USAID-funded project
  Knowledge of information systems, diverse databases, and data analytics required, knowledge of health data systems a plus

• Experience in Jordan

• Arabic and English language skills
