This is especially noticeable with third party clones like 8BitDo.
Gyro only available to switch mode, analogue only available in xbox mode...... surely it cannot be THAT difficult to enable everything on a PC which does not care about console limitations?
Is the problem that they are piggy backing on first party drivers instead of writing their own and just packing a lot of clone chips on the controllers? Are they essentially to a degree pirating hardware? Have I answered my own question?
