Just got off the phone with a technical support.

Complete arrogance. Says there are no network issues.
Clarified my first ticket was logged on the 10th of June. It is still open and unresolved.

Asking why nobody is getting back to me, he tells me they are still working on it. I ask working on what? He has no idea, suggests I call back during office hours to check with a technician.

I complain saying I'm the paying customer but must constantly chase after them? He says he'd be lying if he said anyone would actually call me back.

Complete disinterest in my problem and no ability to resolve anything.

Overall general bad attitude, seriously. Just convinced me to get out of this Neotel situation.

They REALLY don't care and are running a sub-standard network.
 
Im giving them till 30th July to sort out their crap else im cancelling. I have spoken to screamer telecoms and i have excellent coverage. im tired of this - if anyone else is interested in cancelling around this time, contact me and we will cancel as a group. Their offices are down the road from me - I will go and cancel in their face and leave their crap modem there too. They act like tough **** cos they dont see us face to face - im gonna go down there and law down my law.
 
hard luck guys.network perfomance is the crappiest problem you could ever encounter with internet service providers

Was thinking that. We should get a group of MyBB users together as a group cancellation.

I'd go Screamer man - I just can't get good enough signal here - had them out in 2 days after ordering. Great service. The Wi-Max is 512k but I asked them for 1mbit and they said cool, was only R200 more.

Zinia does 4mbit Wi-Max by the way. Have been in touch and they're getting back to me in a few days about coverage, apparently doing a lot of installations.

Ditto, applied for ADSL 4MB, done with neotel and all their bulls**T, I also live in midrand, I have to wait round about a month for Telkom to install my ADSL, so I guess I will cancel round about the same time as you.

Lets cancel this s**t.
