Please see the job spec below for a Technical Test Team Lead position I have available in the Finance industry in the Randburg area. The person will lead a team of Automation Testers and should ideally have SOA experience and 5 years experience in Test Analyst/Lead role. He/She must have strong Test Planning, Progress and Reporting skills.

Job Specification
Role Purpose:
The Quality Assurance Team Leader coordinates Test Analysts' test efforts with regards to test processes, progress, reporting and customer relationships. The incumbent manages the test environment, provides reports to the Test Manager, and distributes the workload within the team. The Quality Assurance Team Leader efficiently manages resources.
Minimum Requirements
Experience:
6 years minimum IT industry experience, including:
2 years minimum testing experience in the banking industry
5 years minimum as a test analyst/Lead
Solid Understanding of the QA methodologies
Qualifications:
A degree/NDiploma in I.T or Computer Science is required
ISEB/ISTQB or other formal training / certification in testing is desirable
Role Outputs:
Responsible for a project from start to finish
Attendance of project meetings, TSP Launch, Sprints, etc.
Management of project / testing scope!!!
Ensure that scope changes are incorporated in the test packs
Detailed Test planning
Management of testing resources time
Monitor testing resources progress
Identify performance and automation requirements upfront
Quality assurance and sign-off of project documentation
Review test cases and ensure that test team adheres to QA standards
Conduct test design sessions
Ensure 100% test coverage
Data management
Conduct test case inspection and review
Identify and raise risks
Reporting
Defect management
Ensure that defect severities are correct
Analyze failed test cases during and after each test cycle
QA Documentation
QA Post Implementation Reviews
