Technify: Legit or Not?

Scratch that. This is a scam.
No way the MI Mix can sell for that low when Gearbest sells it for R8.5k on special.

Even the pics were cropped from there.

Avoid like the plague.

I knew something was off about the R26 import duties. But the phone though, they had my interest.

The Mi8 is around R5000-R6000 excluding VAT and import Fees.

So that is probably the Mi8 LITE. Excluding VAT and import fees.

Something is not right there.


Although they do make use of PayFast. Usually you can only use PayFast if you have a registered business and all the documents required by PayFast.

I bought a Mi8 from Technify. It took 46 days to arrive and I had to pay R87 in fees when it did come. It has the global software. The Mi Pay does not seem to work in SA

And you are not the person who runs that site, are you? First post on MyBB is to say you got your product from them and your username starts with tech and their name starts with tech???
 
Not legit at all, whole group of us tried to purchase FiiO BTR3 bluetooth DACs that were on a too good to be true price (like under R200 or something). No one has received anything, every time you ask it'll be delivered the coming Friday because customs is having issues (same excuse months later) and getting a refund is such a pain.

Not a proper run business, if it even is one at all. As WaxLyrical said, avoid like the plague.
 
Found these guys' website now, got all excited. Good thing I checked here. Prices seem WAY too low to be for real.
 
Hi Guys - so here goes, i bought smart broadlink light switches off Technify.co.za - that was the easy part! I contacted Jonathan Darker immediately and he assured me that he has ordered it from over seas. long story short, this website is a big fat joke, i have about 3 weeks of promises and excuses on whatsapp and sent two email follow ups with no replies.

I am now going to the police station and filing a case of fraud against mr Darker, due to continual misleading information, no tracking numbers , non delivery when promised delivery dates arise.

If anyone else has bought off Technify and would like to take group action, please let me know and DM me and we can chat
