TEFL courses / the knowledge workshop

Perhaps even the UK or America, they can't ****ing speak english to save their lives...

Probably the Middle-East or Asia. Haven't decided yet.
Judging by your writing you're not like the fellow I recently met in Korea teaching English.
He was also from Cape Town, and could not speak English or Afrikaans very well, and even had difficulty reading his employment contract.

Korea has become wise to this and now do a few more check on SA applicants to ensure that English abilities are what they expect.
I was embarrassed when a senior public figure informed me that two SA teachers in as many months had just been sent packing because they misrepresented themselves on their CV's and application forms.
