Pre-ordered the We Are Tekken Edition a few days ago :D

Tekken is best played with a d-pad IMO since it doesn't rely on circular movements like Street Fighter

Um no. I have ten fingers. Not eleven in case you haven't seen some of the combos.

Each to his own I guess, I just find things like sidestepping and dashing quicker and easier to do with a pad.

The combos are usually no problem, even the crazy 10+ hit ones, and you can remap the buttons if you have trouble.

I've gotten use to the Playstation's d-pad when it comes to fighters. The xbox one is another story. I suck at it.

I'm dying to get a stick with this, but they're all so expensive. The best mid range one I could find is about R1200, which is still sadly too much for me :/

It's not the hits, but button combinations.

Ones that use X and triangle simultaneously for example require me to let go of the pad so that I can use my index and middle finger.

Been waiting for Tekken Tag 2 for a while now.Looking forward to it!

Been with Tekken since the 1st one hit arcades and had many sleepless nights with Tekken 3.

Sadly didn't see many South Africans playing Tekken 6 online.

Hence the button assignments. I usually press that with the side of my thumb but can't pull it off every single time. I assign unusual combinations like triangle+X, square+circle, X+circle etc. to the L1,R1,R2,L2 buttons.

+1

I've never seen any south africans playing SSFIV AE online either. Seems Saffers aren't that into fighting games

There's a fairly decent scene in Cape Town. Check out Cape Town Showdown/Gecosports on Facebook. I used to play Tekken a lot with them but lost interest when the sessions moved to the northern suburbs. They're now at Gecosports on the weekends so I'm getting back in SSIVae and I'll get TTT2 when it comes out.

So received my game on friday.

Love all the extras. Just one problem. Where do I enter my DLC code? I found the place for the online pass. That's no issue.

Go to the Playstation Store and press the redeem code button. It's at the top right corner of the screen, has a picture of a pencil on it.

Awesome game. The guys at Namco outdid themselves. Thank god their DLC characters are free. I'll get it when everyone eventually gets released.
