Tekken 6 Not Coming to PS3

..... but Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion is :D (think Tekken 5: DR)

Namco Bandai held a special press conference yesterday (just a few days before Tokyo Game Show), where they went over new and upcoming titles and other special announcements. One of the announcements was that Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion will be heading to the PLAYSTATION 3 (no word when) and will have MORE content than the arcade version (big surprise!)… IGN was at the event and mentioned in their latest podcast that the PS3 will NOT be getting the regular version of Tekken 6, which was released late 2007 in arcades. More news as we get it!

Still sceptical bout the exclusivity but it could be true cause so far Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm remains one and it's also Namco Bandai.
 
Well considering that Namco and Sony have a deal where Sony gives them the hardware so that they don't have to create new hardware for the arcade and in return they port it for the console. It's been happening since PSOne days and HOPEFULLY it'll still keep up as per their announcement. Even if it does go multi-plat, that Xbox d-pad will make the game suck, face it as much as 360 fans will praise their controller it's certainly not good for fighters.

I honestly donmt find anything wrong with the control for fighters...DC4 was fine on it...unless i am missing something completely...

You mean Soul Calibur? Well control scheme is different in Soul Calibur.
Honestly try doing King or Nina's grab chains, personally I can't get around that d-pad. Yes it kicks a$$ when playing Gears and so on but for tekken, nah not for me
 
ya, my d-pad is just crap, ps3 controller is better for fighters
 
yip,D-pad is crap in comparison to PS3..... but everything else is better ..:D

Tekken has a major fan-base as well as a good storyline IMO.
The characters are memorable ones :D
 
and street fighter 4 will blow tekken back to the dark ages considering all the praise its been getting compared to tekken 6

not really i'v always been a street fighter, doa, virtua fighter fan

i have only bought 1 tekken game ever and that was tekken 3 on psx otherwise i have always been a hardcore sf,vf,doa and sc fan
 
I honestly dont care about tekken, i had tekken 4 and thought it was great until i played soul calibur and doa4, now i realise it sucks.
