This article says it all - shockingly disgusting - the entrenched attitudes, assumptions and general patting on the back.

If telkoms prices were less we would have more penetration - in some of the poorest countries of the world - upliftment... all the good things - except we get corporate speak and how wonderful they all are.

It is enough to make me see red. We don't need this kind of corporate back-patting when the consumers are being ripped off to death. It is time for real competition to get any decent penetration.
