Where the best place to get telephone cable?(Indoor cable) Cape Town area.
Need about 300m

kk guys need some help, I need to do a job, take network + telephone cable from one building to the other, distance is 100m straight, but I will have to take all kinds of corners so. mine will be much more than 100m.

I was thinking about getting 200m each + extra switch to split the network cable at 90m to have no data loss.

Any extra info or help welcome!.

O and we dont want wireless because we have it and it sucks!

You can use any cable as long as its twisted pair try Falcon, Datanet, Regal Eltro or shops specializing in security systems you looking for 4 core twisted pair comms cable.
 
Only other places i can think of is eagle (hout str?) and uhm plumstead electrical. There's another 2 in woodstock but i forgot their names.. communica something like that on lower main road, and capitol but they changed their name just off the high way nearby the mini spares place with billboards on the building(spares place).

Plumstead electrical will definately have infact i buy from them cables(they got alot of different types), the other 3 might have but they speicialise electronic eq, fans etc.

Decent price if thats VAT inclusive copper price has gone up 2 months ago.
Regal I think have 300m rolls not sure though.
 
Well thing to keep in mind if you do this is that should there be a problem with the line 1st check it by disconnecting your extension/addon else if they come out there and find problem is a short/faulty connection on private lines then you have to pay for the call out.
