Hi All,

So they stole the telephone cables. It was replaced but it’s been buried underground and ever sins my line quality dropped.

Question:
Will it make a difference if they move the cable from one pole to the other pole cutting out almost 20 meters?

4mbit means zilch (it only tells you the highest speed you can sync at) What is your actuall speed?

Will this Help In anyway?
not sure what speed it is..

Modulation: G.DMT
Annex Mode: ANNEX_A

Downstream Upstream
SNR Margin: 6.5 12.0 db
Line Attenuation: 63.5 31.5 db
Data Rate: 4096 512 kbps
Max Rate: 4832 812 kbps
CRC: 55711 36

When they splice the line where it was cut, on both ends, it ups the resistance and therefore increases the attenuation.

It happened to me as well, I was synching just fine at 4Mb and after the line was stolen, I could only sync at 512Kb.

But your stats are quite nasty, if you manage to sync at 1Mb you should consider yourself lucky IMO.
