I'm about to get an XBOX360... My old tv recently blew up. What TV would be the best bet... Consider things like price, quality...

Thanks for your opinion.

yip, they just fresh stock.

just be wary that you will need a VGA HD cable to get the most out of your X360 on the Mecer. Plus as usual with all LCDs the regular DSTV broadcasts can at times not look very pleasant to the eye.

what is your budget like? coz money wise the Mecer 32" is currently the best bang for the buck.

The Xbox 360 Pro or Premium comes standard with the component cable for HDTv.

I hope you're getting this one :

you can see the compnent cable in the centre at the bottom.

I have a Benq 20" LCD HDTv , for my XBox 360 and man does it look awesome.

You can probably get one of these for under R 3500.00 , which is gr8

Neither X360 comes standard with the VGA HD cable. You are confusing the Pro's component cable and Core's composite cables which come as standard. ;)

I'm not sure of my budget. I've got the cash. Just need to decide If I can warrent spending R10k on a 7k Tv and a 3k Console...

What makes the VGA cable better than the component cable?

its just gives you more flexibiliy in connecting to more devices, ie. your PC monitor, etc.

a big plus is that some LCD TV's provide clearer image results via VGA HD cable, but that varies amongst the various brands out there.
