Telia.net latency

So for the last couple of days I've been gettign horrible latencies playing to EU, from my normal 280-350 to double, triple that.

Seems there is a problem with Telia.net and their routing, as a lot of posts in the Technical section complain about them too. Blizz say just speak to your ISP, but what is someone at an ISP here going to do? "hai telia noob we cant play wow lolz". Or is there really something they can do? I tried Axxess acounts, afrihost and webafrica and they all suffer from it as they all probably break out at the same point in the EU and following the same routing tables.

I tried GamePath and GameMax again and still no luck with getting anything under 1s latency with them

Its most likely where your server is situated in europe, last night in ICC25 i was using lowerping my latency was about 200, at one point it shot up to 2000 i got disconnected, i then swapped to the london lowerping server and it was 200 again for the remainder of the evening.

I had some big discussions with imaginet.co.za on why my latency is bleh. After some SAIX guy looked at tracert's and screenshots etc, they just said it's Telia. So maybe, maybe not. I'd rather pick the side of the company I have never dealt with or heard from (Telia) than trust some local authority.
